About the factory
ChorFurniture is based in Phrae — a province long renowned for teak woodworking. We chose this location for its proximity to quality teak sources and local craftsmen whose skills have been handed down through generations.
Every piece is made in our own factory, from wood selection and kiln-drying to milling and final quality inspection before shipment. We are not a broker or distributor — we are the manufacturer.
Production process
Teak is sourced from trusted suppliers and inspected for grain quality, colour, and straightness before entering the workshop.
Timber goes into a temperature- and humidity-controlled kiln to reduce moisture content to the standard target level.
Dried timber is cut and planed to the required dimensions using modern woodworking machinery.
Craftsmen assemble door panels and apply hand carving (for carved models), with every joint checked for fit and strength.
Every piece is checked for dimensions, flatness, joints, and carving detail. Any panel that does not pass is sent back for rework.
Panels receive a primer coat or wood oil treatment (depending on the model) to protect the timber and enhance appearance.
Foam padding, warning labels, and secure strapping before handover to a vetted carrier for nationwide delivery.
